Painful past reminder poem.

I remember
how much you
said you
loved me
how I could
never
love
anyone
else
but I wasn’t
good enough
you felt there
was something
missing from
me
I brought
you tumultuous
pain
I tried
to
understand
what I could
have
done
but it
didn’t really
matter anyways
I doubt
you loved me
in the first
place
You
sought
the love
of another
and through
his rejection
you came
to me
for support
yet
my deflation
won’t allow
me to comfort
a stranger
I loathe

This one hits me to the core. I have totally been there.
