Corporations are sly and clever,

Hiring high profile individuals to

boost their profits and Executive egos,

Public People that generate revenue that

never quits,

and their mere association can take an

unknown brand to a household name,

Yet, they have no real power,

or authority,

Mascots that feel the pain of

token shame,

Sometimes, treated as trophies

hanging on a wall,

Only for show….,

while their magnetic personas

continue to draw curiousity,

clearing the clouds of obscurity,

More potent fuel for their competing games,

Once their tasks are accomplished,

and the companies go from anonymity to notoriety,

these Public Figures become expendible,

and unnecessary,

with very little reward or gratification of their

own, they are sent out to pasture leaving behind

a legacy of revenue and lustre…..
