Loving my little ones.
Are the eyes truly windows to the soul?
What about the eyes that look as black as coal?
I don’t have the answers here,
but I know what I think, dear,
To see a child’s eyes smiling, is my goal.
When a child smiles, the eyes light up, as well.
What he feels right then is not so hard to tell.
There’s no better sight to see,
least not if you’re asking me.
For a smiling child will cause my heart to swell.
His morning grin’s like turning on the sun.
You look at him, a good day is begun.
You can’t help but smile back.
It’s a happiness attack!
You just see his grin and then you’re having fun.
There are lights inside of every child’s eyes.
They’re a misbehavior’s very best disguise.
When he looks at you he’ll grin,
and you WILL be taken in,
because the purest gold’s no better prize!
