Eyes of Forgiveness

Across the timeless heavens you scan.

Your eyes looking into the heart of man.

Through the blood of your Son.

You see only the good we have done.

Your call to the heart of the lost.

Is still as strong as the day You paid the cost.

The same yesterday today and forever.

Your love for all who call you stranger.

We may turn aside to our ways.

But your love calls to us all the days.

And when we turn and look to You again.

You still forgive us all our sin.

No matter how long it may have been.

You take up our lives again.

In Your love we grow.

Your heart we desire to know.

By Your Spirit we learn.

In Your love we shall never turn.

Back to the things Your blood from us rid.

In love You forgave us of the things we once did.
