Here’s the philosophy. The American Dream.
So sad…

Keep your eye on the prize…
Stay alive until you retire…
Save your money. That’s what’s wise.
Then you’ll be rich when you expire.

Work all day, sleep all night,
do it again, just to get by.
You could do this for the rest of your life,
just for a little peace of mind.

But tomorrow comes. The Dope has spoke.
Bang, Bang, Bang and you’re dead fucker.
In your head sucker.

And a nanosecond becomes an eternity while you wait for this artillery to penetrate your dome.
And you know that you’re never going home.
You’ll never hear this song,
for a little piece of mind you now lack.
But if you had you’d be sad that ’twas all for naught.
All You’ve Done.

So, we gotta get a job with benefits. It’s evident
that I need a pension,
for retirement,
so I do this job that I lament.
Every day of every week just
keep your eye on the prize.
Stay alive until you retire.
Save your money, that’s what’s wise.
Then you’ll be rich when you expire.

Just keep your eyes on the prize.
Stay alive until you die.
Why not try? I hope to lose.
The prize is death for those of you…
