Lined and wrinkled…

Lined and wrinkled

Face of a thousand dreams

Withered by the passage of time

Extraordinary, incredible eyes

Attentively watching and waiting

Images and emotions

Passing through the mind

Visions of unfulfilled desires

Still craving for satisfaction

She stands alone

Neglected for a time

Dreams postponed again

Waiting for the day

Somebody remembers

I don’t know if I got the rigt meaning, but I thought about how so many older people have a lot of dreams, some that go unfulfilled and some that are granted. Great poem.

Yes, we all have our good times and bad, We have fulfilled dreams and many that didn’t get off the ground. It’s life. We do the best we can.
