This is a poem I wrote in late 07.

Just another day without her face,

just another day I’m saved by grace.

When will she come back to this place,

oh how I long to see her face.

It’s been over three hundred days,

since I last knew her ways.

I’ve been holding out for so many days,

life is so like an unwinding maze.

Just like the cattle sent out to graze,

I long so much for the suns first rays.

Just like the shadows and the haze,

she’s been changing in so many ways.

Just like a picture in black and gray,

her love for me will fade away.
