We all dream of far off fairy tales…
I lay here in my bed at night and dream
Of far off lands, a fairy princess, too.
These places only seen in dreams it seems
But can this life be real? Can it be true?
I wear a crown atop my head of gold,
I rule a land of creatures big and small –
Of fairy tales and myths you’re never told
My kingdom here will never age or fall.
I play amongst the fireflies at night
And dance along horizons by the day,
You’ll never see me glow as much, so bright
As when I sit atop a leaf and sway.
Alas, but this is only fantasy –
But how I wish that this will someday be.
