If love is a fairytale…

If love is a fairytale,
It would have begun,
On the first page with,
“Once Upon a Time”.

The prince would have been,
A charming young man,
Who looks so fine,
And oh so masculine.

The lady would have been,
A ravishing beauty,
A sweet looking siren,
Who walks so gracefully.

Let there be no fear,
For the prince is here,
To save the lady,
When danger is near.

He would be the knight,
In shining armour.
When the lady cries,
That she is in trouble.

They would ride on the horse,
And gallop to another land,
Where flowers bloom,
In a dazzling blend.

They would be together,
Hand in hand,
On a land,
Where love never ends.

They would watch the sun,
Rise as it glows,
And sets as it dims,
And forget all woes.

They would catch fireflies,
In case the night grew dark.
At least there is some light,
To bring in some luck.

They would build a cottage,
Made of straws and leaves,
Of love and laughter,
And live in harmony.

They would raise a family,
Of boys and girls,
And watch them grow,
As bright individuals.

They would never grow old,
And never let go,
For the love they share,
Is purer than gold.

If love is a fairytale,
It would have ended,
On the last page with,
“Happily Ever After”.
