We can have peace in hard times, knowing the Lord will be there with us through them all!

“And he was in the hinder part of the ship asleep upon a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?” Mark 4:38 (verses 34-41)

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.” John 14:1

Faith at home in trouble,

Asleep when others’ faith lacks.

But waking when they call thee,

To stand behind their backs!

Faith at home in trouble,

Asleep on the restless sea.

He who faints not nor is weary,

Will wake to pilot thee!

Faith at home in trouble,

Asleep upon a pillow,

But wakes upon thy bidding,

And stands to calm thy billows!

Faith at home in trouble,

Could sleep without a care.

We too can pass our night times,

Knowing He is already there!

Faith at home when troubles

Around thy head do swarm,

Will wake to cast out doubting,

And calm you in your storms!

Faith at home in trouble,

In doubting and in fears.

Hath walked the road before you,

And waking, says, I’m near!

Faith at home in trouble,

Is standing at thy back,

To whisper words of gudance,

And melt the heart of wax!

Faith at home in trouble,

Tis HIS the unseen Hand

That leads you on your journey,

To view the distant Land!

Faith at home in trouble

Has walked where you now trod.

Asleep deep in the hinder parts

Can rest secure in God!
