Aah, the season of Fall fills the air and us as well.
As daylight shortened, the air has cooled
The children have now returned to school
The sun fades sooner, the moon then rules
When summer sheds it heat
As leaves take to their seasoned demise
They hit the ground, to the wind they fly
The colors subdued before our eyes
We welcome autumn’s treats
Pumpkins are then placed so carefully
Children in costumes for all to see
Crispness of air makes our hearts feel free
When witnessing new days
Enjoying time, in leaves on the ground
Listening to the clear rustling sound
As sunny days are still to be found
On autumn’s fields we’ll lay
