False feelings hidden behind real words

All the lies from your friend, but the truth you have not heard

They say sorry and that everything they said in the past was true

But they are trying to move on from the past and that includes you

And they tell you not to be angry and that you’ve both drifted away

And you yell telling them do you remember that day

When you told me you’d be there through the laughter and the strife

You said that if I ever needed someone to lean on you’d be the anchor in my life

Now your telling me your sorry and that we’re no longer friends

Tell me exactly when did the honesty end 

When did you start lying straight to my face

Basically your saying that the past years of our friendship have all been a waste

But if that’s how you feel i won’t stop you from leaving

And I won’t lose my dignity begging and pleading

I just want you to know I don’t appreciate that you lied

And that ever since we met our ‘friendship’ had already died
