About my family.

I am lucky that I have a family.
I am happy that I have relatives who stay close with me.
But I am angry for the bonds which don’t flow in my house.
There is mother, all sons and daughters who do not hug but argue.
There are brothers and sisters who fight like mad, yes this is true!
How can we call this a family?
I want this relation of hatred to end and love to begin as soon as possible.
I want a change in my house, in my family!

I want this for my family as well. It is pretty hard to force children to display love for their siblings. I find that it is important for me to spend as much one-on-one time with each child as possible. They only fight when they are together.

Sometimes I want way to much for things to change but, as of now its not going too. I like your poem, thanks for sharing.

Great piece! I have come to the conclusion that sibling rivalry is their way of showing love for one another. I fought with my brother, my husband fought with all three of his brothers, and we couldn’t be closer now as adults. My boys fight a lot too and while it’s very annoying, I just reassure myself that they will get over it eventually. I hope. They do spend time playing together as well, but sometimes just need sometime for themselves.

I like how you are able to keep you poems short but still get your point across. Great job.

    Thanks,
