The old tree of the yard of my workplace collapsed suddenly and hit the lamp post, luckily I was not standing there, luckily the gardener was not doing his duty there… luckily….
It was not raining before the fall, but it rained heavily few hours after that.

The building you see here is not our company, it’s just another company at the opposite road.

The lane in front of this lamp post is within our company’ pemise instead.

Farewell to the old tree, oh…

Good bye too, to the lamp post

It’s now time for you both to go

As you know, you both already old

I thought the rain has not arrived yet

But why you both just collapse like that

Just like life, we won’t know what we get

Any moment, one may just go, oh, that’s sad

Fallen tree and lamp post shall be taken away

New ones shall be replaced very soon some day

But if someone was there, different thing I will say

Thanks Goodness, no one was hurt and all still safe

Star, it’s lucky that nobody gets hurt. The sight is a good reminder that life is always full of surprises. Let’s live every moment full. Good day.

Wow, I’m so happy it didn’t fall on your house.

  • CA Johnson on Nov 2, 2011

Thank goodness no one was nearby when the tree fell. We had a snowstorm here in New Jersey and a lot of trees and tree branches fell down.

The tree and lamp post had an eternal relationship. When one goes the other follows. :)
