The terrain is not what it seems
The ground is subtle
The grain
Changes, just where
That patch of grass
Begins

She’s forms a circle
It pleases her
For some reason
He stands watching
Fascinated
And puzzled

For the plans the next day
Swirl in his mind
Can he trust her?
Does it matter, anymore?

He feels it’s the same
As the day before

The same, as the day before

Could it be, that this is just
A matrix?

Could it be that life
Is already filled with destinations
These obstacles already planned
Tricks
To test the naive?
To challenge and see, is there a
Strong survivor, you can  see?

It’s all a test, it’s all a test

And, she’s done with her sand picture
And, she claps
She’s sure
It’s the best portrayal of the beauty
Inside of her.
