Amusing poem about the clutter in my basement.
There’s clutter in the basement.
There are boxes everywhere.
I’ve even found a basket
Of my father’s underwear.
And look, I’ve found some candy.
They look like a tasty treat.
But they are ten years old,
And not suitable to eat.
Now I’ve found a calendar.
It says 2001.
And here’s an old video.
It’s called “Buns on the Run.”
I located a flag.
It looks all tattered and worn.
Here’s another video.
It’s called “Swept Away by the Storm.”
Say I’ve just found a map.
I’ve also found a cloak.
All of a sudden, I’m invisible.
This must be a joke.
My basement feels damp.
It’s not very appealing.
Looking up at the tiles.
I see a leaky ceiling.
I think I’ve seen enough.
I’m calling it a day.
Oh look, I’ve discovered,
A picture of Aunt May.
I’m getting a strange tingling.
It’s time for me to leave.
Otherwise this web I’m spinning
Will be difficult to conceive.
