A poem for a special father.
Father, Oh Father!
Always there like a ladder!
For me in my childhood
Down through Adulthood
You made me know Love
Though I was not above
Directing me to respect my mother!
Who was also to you like a mother!
Father,Oh Father!
Still feeling your presence, though now farther
My children I would tell the story
Of how you made me glory
In the real discipline that made me
A good wife and bade me
To appreciate a family
And also to make a Family
