I dedicate this to those who have been hurt so many times by another that it is scary to let another try to love you.
I stop myself…
Not from killing…
But of showing affection.
I want to know you…
I want you to love me…
But I am so afraid.
I yearn to touch you…
I yearn for you to hold me…
I stay silent & avoid you.
Can I trust my heart…
Does my love still exist…
May I have one chance?
What do I say…
Do I make the move or you…
Grant me strength to be patient?
A hope to keep me here…
Can it be…
Love me just once please.
