The Blues.
Feeling Blue
By Joshua Tchaou
Weeping, pouting without a reason
Sadness building within
Wanting to kill but it is treason
You then know you are feeling blue
Had a bad day at school
Everywhere you turn there’s trouble
Anyone not knowing is a fool
They should know you feeling blue
Mom’s yelling
Whining all around you
Anger inside swelling
You’ll know your day is blue
No quiet and peace
Only staring at homework for hours
Headaches that just won’t cease
If you’re feeling blue
Misery all around you
The shouting, the fighting
You sometimes wish this wasn’t true
That you are feeling blue
Then sunshine comes
The world seems to freeze
You can almost hear happiness toll and drum
You smile and start to work
So long to the curse of feeling blue
