A joyous Day, a joyous day
That’s how it feels to be
For I’m not sure how to explain it
Except it’s going to be a great day for me.

Yes I know it’s hot already
Though it’s only 9 a.m.
But I feel great so no matter what
Let’s let the games begin.

Today will be very busy
But it’s anticipation feels real good
So I’ll accomplish all I can
~more than just the things I should.

Today will also hold some ‘party’ time
So I’m hoping less muggy it will be
And I’m pretty sure I can state without doubt
That it appears it may also be rain free.

It’s silent now and very still
Peace seems to explode from inside
So no matter what this day actually brings
I intend to happily enjoy the ride.

So with a smile on my face
And one also on my heart
With peace and joy and even eagerness
I’m ready for today’s, games to start.
