What’s this guy about?

For Fegger…
Time and again I have found those clients I find most abrasive at first
are the ones I end up celebrating the most-
Such was the case with a certain fellow, an online writer, named Fegger.

Whilst in the Forum I did explore
Grinch-like comments I was led to deplore.

Who is this Fegger, said I, to myself
He sure is a mean-spirited, droll sort of elf.

But he has my curiosity peaked none the less
For his language is that of a scholar in jest.

Hidden behind this abrasive disguise
Might I find a rare, cut diamond inside?

Then the poetry, it started to show
And more intrigued with this fellow I grow.

Aha!  I was right, this Grinch–an imposter
Because behind that crooked smirk is a Master.

And yet under the words, a heart as big as Whooville
He drags on his sleigh– gifts to us in newville.

He shares his poetry with me, you see
And helps me to be the best me I can be.

So, I look forward to knowing him better
A great friend, I think, I am forming with Fegger.

Kimberly, I like it and I agree; it’s as you’re listening (reading) his comments you start to see the deeper part of who he may be inside.

    I don’t think I’ve met him yet.

YEH! When I advised Martin K to try FREE VERSE Fegger jumped on me with a very academically worded rebuff. He later admitted that he PRETENDED to be anti free verse, just to get me going. I then befriended him cos it turned out we both rated the same poets.

So Guy, stick a poem on the forum and ask fr a critique. Watch out for Drew tho – he sees all poems by others as CRAP!

A Fegger, you must understand, is a many facetted man. He has grown bitter of late, and can not be blamed, for something he once held as dear, as become a wasteland of plagiarists and spinners. They took his beloved art, and tore it asunder.
