Someone told me that on a recent am hours online conversation. For once just go for it and fight for the man that owns your heart they told me.They could have been right and a fight for true love is a battle worth going into.I could put on my armor, helmet and grab Excalibur to battle for something more precious then gold to me.But the person in question forgot one major thing when telling me all this.A message within a message is here using medieval imagery and characters to tackle a modern day situation.

Fight for me for once my tired eyes read last night,

put on your armor, helmet and the famed Excalibur.

Fight for what was only yours but now has been lost,

use the mighty Excalibur to slash a path for true love.

These words came across my old battered monitor,

the scratches and scuffs are covered with stickers.

I registered what my late on line talker was saying,

but the circumstances would make a bloody battle.

For this tall gray king has a woman named Guinevere,

all she wants to be this tall gray kings reigning queen.

But a beautiful village lass has noticed the gray king,

Morgan Le Fay has nothing compared to this sorceress.

This beautiful village lass does not seek to be a royal,

what others don’t know is that she is already a queen.

Short brunette hair, dark blue eyes and is very beautiful,

the hidden queen acts as a peasant to observe things.

Come fight for me said the tall handsome gray king,

come sit by by my side and rule Camelot as my queen.

Once our royal chamber doors are shut for the night,

the love we make and feel will light up the night skies.

But the hidden queen has to pick her battles carefully,

for her own country and as a queen is at stake as well.

To overthrow Guinevere will come with a heavy price,

causing a war that may have been totally unnecessary.

For the gray king wants a queen who believes in him,

willing to do what it takes to keep the union together.

Love the tall legendary gray king like he would love her,

fighting side by side to save what Camelot is all about.

The hidden queens wants loved and preserve Camelot,

but want to know she is also getting a loyal king as well.

Doesn’t slip into Guinevere’s bed after they are a couple,

otherwise fully agreeing with everything the kings wants.

But until she is sure the hidden queen will stay undercover,

as a queen she cannot afford to make any big mistakes.

Her kingdom has a queen with a heart that can shatter,

she wants to know that the tall gray king wont break it.

Then she may put on her armor, helmet and Excalibur,

putting the still beautiful Guinevere where she belongs.

Claim back the gray king she lost so many months ago,

live in the legendary Camelot and make love all night long.

But this is where the story takes an unusual twist here,

one that has yet to be resolved over time or maybe not.

The beautiful hidden queen knows how to run a kingdom,

But doesn’t have a clue how to win back the tall gray king.

Out of all the lessons the hidden queen learned in her life,

someone forgot how to tell her how to win back a true love.

She doesn’t want to let Guinevere have him without a fight,

but history may repeat itself and she still may be queen again.

    “Iseult of the emerald isle,
Still I seek you, mile on mile
    Through the wide world following
Love – a white bird on the wing.
Iseult, though the world wax old,
Never shall our love grow cold:
Still while youth and Spring are sure
Lives our love and shall endure.
    Iseult in the after-time
Poets still shall fit their rhyme,
    Tell of love beyond compare:
Tristram and Iseult the Fair.”‘ ~ Follow your heart Lady Fantasy, but rule with your head ;-)

It is written in your analogy that you have a deep respect for yourself which will keep you upright in decisions. Kings need to be worthy of the kingdom and the queen otherwise it is one sided. You did a fantastic composition here.

Very well expressed in words and graphics. This is a timeless tale and a great movie. Also, history tends to repeat itself because people sometimes fail to learn from our mistakes.
