They can be animals, sometimes.

When told that rabbits

Have dirty habits

Like eating their own poo

I didn’t quite believe it

So, I looked it up, it’s true

Their time’s spent mainly eating, but

When they can’t get grass

They nibble on the pellets

Emanating from their arse

Now you may say I’m crazy

You may think I’m pretty dumb

But I couldn’t eat a creature who

Gets dinner from his bum

So, when you’re in a restaurant

And for food you cannot wait

If there’s rabbit on the menu

Just remember what they ate

Now you know about their habits

Which are foul to say the least

Though they may be cute and cuddly

They’re still filthy little beasts

I’ll think of you and your poetry every time I look out of my office window across the meadow now. We have a ‘glut of bunnies’ out there!
