A look at life from near the end zone.

In American football when the score is tied and time is running out
And you have the ball and it’s first and goal and you hear the quarterback shout,
“Let’s end this on a high note.  We’ve stayed with them point for point.
We certainly do not want to go four and out and then stink up the joint.”

The same  holds true in our daily lives as we come to the end of the road
With time running out we want to be sure we’ve carried our share of the load.
So give it some thought if you want to go down in the eyes of your friends as a hero.
When it’s first down and goal to go, please don’t come away with zero.

Interesting thought. I hope my friends and family will remember me as one who loved and served the Lord. I hope they will reflect on the good times and memories rather than mourn my leaving this world; I am heading to a far better place.

Amen Greg and Ken. I want to leave a legacy of love to my children, and my family and friends. They will remember me as a person who loved them and who loved the Lord. I know where I am going ….touchdown…Heaven. Thanks for sharing Ken, I really liked it.
