Nobody’s perfect. So why tell yourself otherwise?
You’ll tell yourself,
You can do this.
But inside your still,
Nervous.
You can hear yourself tell them,
That this is your thing.
Even though you know,
There is someone your not comparing.
You can believe they all love you,
And as much as you, want to.
Deep down you know your lying,
And it’s not true.
You spend your days thinking,
What they think of you.
You probably don’t even notice,
How far down that pulls you.
There’s more expected of you.
You say you’ll try your best.
You have to learn to face it,
You’re a flawed perfection like the rest.
