A storm personified. Great little poem for any age.

The rain gathers and starts its riot

The clouds yell and thunder

lashing out  as the rain starts to break free

Running and falling  upon the ground

The rain starts to dance as it lands

Streaming and gathering

Looking for a place to hide

When the mighty clouds have  screamed their last

They  linger, staring at the rain

Finally giving  in, the  clouds disperse

The sun  then comes to find the rain

The rain cries its mist of tears as the sun sends it home

The cloud welcomes the rain home

Quickly tucking the rain away

The rain stays content waiting for another day

Dreaming of its next escape
