A poem about love.

Floating

Trying to catch a breath, I am coasting, floating, flying doting, wishing.
Can’t even see the wood through the trees
In my thoughts I observe the colours of a million rainbows, many mountains, moons and sparkling seas.
I am awake, but dreaming, stealing pockets of passion wherever possible. This thing is almost impossible. Emotions, unstoppable but circumstances making this much less than probable. In a hopless daze, floating above a parallel universe where you and I lived like kings and queens.
I just find it hard to believe that, experiencing your kiss, your touch, your chocolate, caramel, velvety skin against me is far from a possibility.
Hearing your rhetoric echo through the summer breeze telling me you love me… Aint happening, I feel far more than numb, just come be my sidekick, just come be the other half of me. The missing piece to my ever changing puzzle. The elixir that combines perfectly with my caleidescopic mixture.
I yearn for thee but cannot possess thee. Why me ? When is this coasting, floating, flying, doting, wishing going to cease. Just take me, keep me, possess me. Floating …

Interesting emotional ride. Though i have to say that the format it is presented in does not come across to me as poetic. (maybe I’m just old school and prefer a traditional layout)

Anyway have read it again and its growing on me !!
