I quickly wrote this little verse after reading a “Mother Goose” Rhyme posted on Facebook by a friend about the poor little robin cold in a barn. Thanks for the inspiration BC!

Fly fly!
Whenever you can go!
For the leaves have turned
And the North Wind will blow!

Fly fly!
Sweet Birdies you should  fly
To the South you should go!
The Summer days have passed by.

The Bears are all sleeping;
The Frogs are snug in the mud;
The Furnaces are supplied;
And it’s time for you to fly!

Fly fly!
Whenever you can go!
For the leaves have turned
And the North Wind will blow!

Fly fly!
Sweet Birdies you should  fly
To the South you should go!
The Summer days have passed by.

    Just something quickly written on a cold autumn night… all birdies should be warm in a barn or south in the warm nights.
