This poem is mainly about a fool who is sentenced to the electric chair. The fate of the fool is death.
As a fool’s fate is met
life he knows is in great debt.
He’ll sit, think, and probably regret
his choices in life that have surely let
him moan and groan, but mainly dread
the night to come, the lies he’s fled.
As he griefs, he’ll soon be led
to be strapped in, his permanent bed
that will send a current through his head
and be the fate, which left him dead.
