You can entertain most thoughts for a while.
For a while I thought I could love you
I thought you could be my answer
The person I could love and stay with
Grow close to and even live with
But something kept nagging at my heart
kept on regreting that we had ever started
because I had an unresolved love affair
still hanging around mid air
