Jack n’ Jill.
Jack and Jill drove to the mill
to join the masquerade.
Jack parked the car, left door ajar,
and vanished into the shade.
Attacked Jill got, left Jack in lot
to run home in despair.
“You whore!” she said, for tears she shed
then cut off all her hair.
When Jack came home he heard Jill’s groans
and found her in the tub.
Through all the doubt, he soon found out
she wasn’t in to scrub.
“Oh Jack!” she cried, then wiped her eyes,
“It seems I have been raped.”
“It’s okay,” he said, then kissed her head,
“this life you can escape.”
