Inspirational poem.

With open eyes, hearts and minds,

We work the words so well my worthy friend.

As soaring eagles lift our spirits high,

Let smooth, sun-sucked smooches caress our necks,

And balmy apple-blossom sooth our suffering souls.

Look down on craggy chasmed mountains,

Those landscapes battered by the swelling seas.

Just listen to those chiming rhymes,

Sublimely smelling garlands,

As we gorge on chocolate

And swill down pints of beer.

Inspiration is immortalised,

For ever, as they say.

Our cities rise to crumble,

Still, we celebrate each day.
