(A Sonnet)
For-Ever-Yours
(A Sonnet)

Do you know what it means when you say it?
Is it scary to utter such last words?
Do you think they are for us; do they fit?
Are they a hindrance for moving onwards?
“I love you now” therefore “I love you then,”
For-ever it goes, is it not soothing?
“Embrace me now” but then “Embrace me when?”
No proper path for such a sweet feeling.
For-ever-thine, For-ever-mine, or ours?
It is such how it is, right now; right here.
Let us ponder through cherished sweet memoirs.
Is this for-ever longer than a year?
It is wise not to measure such time-length.
For only ours is love’s undying strength.
