Things to do before you die.
Her teeth are numb, and her pulse is quick
Her face speaks disillusionment for anyone who’s there to hear it
One off the list of things she hasn’t done
More innocence lost, less innocence gained.
Perhaps a stain upon her character, this fine white powder
A little more worldly, a little more weary
She’s ashamed she’s betrayed the young girl inside her
For innocence and coke don’t mix.
