Dedicated to all pilots and their love for flying. Originally written for a pilot friend whose love for his plane inspired me.

Wings of flight, stars of night.
Touch of passion, none of fright.

Soul of an eagle, heart with wings.
Fly high, fly high, your spirit sings.

You have no limits, you have no fears.
The envelopes edge is ever near.

You have no boundaries, can’t fence you in.
Your vice is your spirit, which has no end.

The moon rise’s high, the sun lays low.
The freedom you feel, I’ll never know.

Pink, gold, and purple, the sunset hues.
All for the taking, all for you.

You’ve seen the treasures, you’ve gathered them in.
Come home; come home, to fly again!

Nice poem. I read an article tonight about reading forward. Checking out older works of your Troind friends. So I am trying to read forward a bit. Started with your first post.

Wow! I love your style. So much detail, but never out of place. I love flying too. I always thought if I could be any animal it would be a bird. Thanks again for find me, and sharing your talent. I’ll be back again soon. AJ
