I won’t pledge alligiance to a flag
based on greed and self indulgence
or to the hypocracy
for which it stands
divided nation
false image of God
broken and disposable
with denial and poverty for all
fights in the streets
while children don’t eat
destuction and murder run rampant,
its not a delight
when the news every night
turns into obituaries.
money means more
than mortality
brand names mean more
than having a brain
and isn’t it great
when everyone hates you
just for not following along.
