Common courtesy…

I am just so sick and tired, that’s right, I said sick and tired of rude and

disrespectful people I meet on the streets everyday.  Did I go to sleep

and wake-up in a society where the word please has been disregarded,

thank you is no longer in ones vocabulary, the word excuse me doesn’t

exist, the word sorry has taken a back seat and the word yes has become

what.  What was I thinking; these are words I thought would never disappear,

they have been with me sense childhood, my mother always said that the word

please would take me a long way in life, the word thank you will let people know

that you appreciate them, the word excuse me shows respect, it takes a bigger

person to say I’m sorry and the word yes should never be answered with a what.

For the record I will not, I said I will not become one of those rude people I meet

on the streets everyday.

The world is a rude and disrespectful place. All you can do is NOT be one of them. Treat others the way you want to be treated. Well said as usual Shirley.

The world can be so cold and calloused at times and make us feel sad and depressed. It can really get us down, that’s for sure.

Thanks for sharing your feelings and thoughts here with us today with these words.

I don’t know why the world has gotten so rude but it’s true.
