Knowing what is and what will never be.
For all I want and need
I am not the source of your
pleasure
God alone can grant us
our hearts desire
Worlds apart and the twain
shall never meet
Time to say good bye and
go our separate ways
No sad parting but a joy
in knowing we smiled at
each other on the way to
higher ground
Finding peace and hope in
something new
God’s grace will carry us
through the lonely days
and once again bringing us to
a place where love flow
free
We’ll remember the smile
when love take wings
and carry us to a place that
our hearts have never been
Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.
