With sharpest breath
This ache in chest
With sharpest edge
This dagger did
Cut through

Eyes penetrated
Crystal gems
Diamonds dicing
The momentary
Glance of two

Spiraling ‘mongst
Self-protection
And, insurmountable
Affections

Did once your spirit
Cry for me?

Did once your heart
Bleed as rivers and showers
Now bleed with me

Did once, your heart
Beseech in need of me?

For this in rivers
Did swim
In lakes did ever
Remember again
This heart of mine
Has always sung

Adieu…

With you
My dearest,
Forever friend
