Poem about a lover who is faithful forever.
I was there again with you today
Did you hear me
And again love had too much to say
Sets no heart free
All the marvels of our life
Not just husband and a wife
In our love we did invite
Others too we did ignite
Was I there again upon my knee
As it should be
Not ashamed that anyone might see
Dreamt they were we
Just to be with you alone
With the memories I now own
Youthful hours on the phone
Not a kiss we let postpone
Did you feel the teardrops from my eyes
They should not hold
Did you see your fans as they walked by
As they grow old
Wither lost without your style
Only pictures share you smile
We still have you in a while
No more number I can dial
And the name that’s written by your side.
The name is mine
