Recalling it each and every day
Oh! How foolishness can make us sway
Sway from vexation to vengeance
We try to exact measure for measure
But the I Am that I Am
Reminds us that vengeance is His

Sustained anger is a sure way of building
decades of stress
It may take a thousand years to redress
To love and forgive is the only way
The only way out of this mess
I love and forgive all
With a little tear, no fears
This life we must repair
