"Forgiving Rain" by Victor Smith; a short poem.

Running, wildly through the rain.
Hearts ablaze, and I’m in pain.
Trying to escape, forget it all.
Then it hits, like a giant, stone wall.
All the madness, all the pain,
Just got washed away by rain.
