This is a poem dedicated to all of you who feel forgotten or ignored, know there is someone out there watching you and who acknowledges you. (:
My presence goes unnoticed.
“Why?”, I ask.
My heart is still masked; Unable to breathe underneath it’s sheet.
I am invisible as well; Forgotten; Ignored.
I swore, to not end this pain, to a friend.
He told me he wants me alive,
Not laying on the ground; unwilling to survive.
I wonder some days if he still cares..
But then I see, he is still there.
Watching me among the distance,
Closing in on my existence.
