A love poem.

Forgotten kisses call to me
Reflections from what used to be
When everyday a fantasy
And there was room to let love free

While stardust wished a dream goodnight
Amid those streams I held you tight
Forgotten kisses there in sight
These promises of sheer delight

A moonbeam sends them back to me
Forgotten kisses lips held tight
Drifting somewhere out of sight
Where tomorrow’s dreams are free

What ray of light has brought this night
What calls me back to used to be
Have I forsaken fantasy
Forgotten kisses spark delight

Within my heart it yearns to free
A youth who wakes in fantasy
And some may ask how can this be
Forgotten kisses call to me
