Everything in our planet, inanimate or animate, can be understood as lessons for our lives.

Jumping and crawling they went,
Chasing those rats and birds in the field,
These four guys are my pets,
Leecoy, Marimar, Cruzita, and Cantalypse,
They made up my life challenging,
And counted it all as jolly days.

There was a day when Marimar was lost,
Four days I’ve found her in nearby grassland,
Half dead marked by a snake bite in her chest,
I prayed, she was well a week later,
Then on their safari, they avail,
The thrill of being together again.

Leecoy is much bigger male than Cantalypse,
But he often run fast in a fight,
The remaining three faced their opponents
Fair and square until they triumphed,
They’re called, “Four Cats in the Yard,”
By their adversaries, whenever they’re invaded.

Many more I’ve learned from them,
Togetherness and sharing are top in the list,
They played, fought, searched, and looked for their needs,
They’re just like us in our daily chores,
More like them in many, many ways,
Can you imagine our lives like them?
