Are human beings are set up to fail,
to fall,
and become more fragile with each breath? 
Demons are beautiful creatures,
and Satan the most beautiful of all. 
Evil is attractive
and sin is tantalizing.  
We cry out to God in agony,
but temptation is the only audible voice. 
God’s only responses are broken promises,
antiquated parables,
and a blue-eyed virgin boy. 
Frailty, thy name is Jesus.
