Delightful poem about a giant named Fred.

Image via Wikipedia

There was a hairy giant

A very merry giant

His name was Fred

His name was Fred

He love to jump in puddles

Very big, enormous puddles

And his name was Fred

His name was Fred

One day Fred saw a house

It was starting to burn

Now it was time

For super hero Fred

To take his turn

He got six huge buckets

And filled them with water

He ran to the fire

To save a child and his father

He dosed out the flames

As a torrent of water slammed into the home

The flames were extinguished

It was clearly shown

One day  when you’re around

Toledo, Ohio

You just might encounter

Fred, the giant with a smile
