Adult abuse poem.

She no longer loves him.
But she knows she’ll never leave.
Everyday she fears him more.
Her freedom she cannot conceive.
~
She tries hard not to annoy him.
She knows he’ll find something wrong.
She Dreams of being free of him.
But she knows she’s not that strong.
~
She works very hard to do her chores.
He maps out her work for each day.
If she doesn’t do exactly as he says,
The consequences she must pay.
~
She wonders if he hates her so much,
Why does he keep her around?
Now she prays that he’ll just Kill her.
Because her freedom is in the ground.
~
Today she’s finally smiling,
As they lower her into the ground.
Today she got her freedom,
Now their lives are switched around.
