Friends

A relationship between friends can be as perfect as it gets, yet some may scare you.

Friends are like an imperfect reality

Who at times achieve

A semblance of perfection

They are like the sea

That flows and ebbs

Every day of the year

- – -

They protect each others secrets

While sharing their weaknesses

As they run around

They have fun as their love goes around

- – -

Far ahead in the great beyond

They like simple things

Like wine and fried chicken

As surprising this may sound

- – -

They share a love that’s Divine

That makes them sublime

Who’s to say what they believe in most

As long it’s not like seeing a ghost

- – -

“So who will be the host?”

If you’re not going to say

Beware of these dogs

That wag their tails

For they may trick you
