Hybrid flower still under development.

If I would plant a single rose each time I think of you
I’d have a bed of roses you could drive a semi through.
Each color of the rainbow would be reaching up to say
This gardener’s thinking thoughts of you each and every day.
And If I picked a rose bud each time my mind would dwell
Upon the image of your face I’ve come to know so well
I’d have too many buds to put into a single vase.
I’d have the long-stemmed beauties scattered all about the place.
But If I did some thing that caused our friendship to go sour
You’d see the roses in my bed grow sickly by the hour.
That’s why I tend our friendship like the roses that I grow
So both will last forever until Heavenward I go.
